Star Wars Battlefront: tips for fixing Sever Errors / Crashes

Server errors, black screens and crashes are just a few problems that may occur in the open beta phase of Star Wars Battlefront. Below you can see a collection of the most common problems. But keep in mind that these tips are not guaranteed to solve all your issues; however they have proved helpful for some players.

Fix - Server Not Found

Have you come across the message “Server Not Found” or “Can’t Find Server”, it can help you restart Origin and make sure that Star Wars Battlefront is up to date and all updates are installed.

Fix - Black Screen

You see nothing but black screens in the PC version, the following procedures might help:

- Check and install new driver updates for your Graphics card
- Perform a new installation of Origin.
- Users of laptops should ensure that your graphics cards (AMD or Nvidia) meet the minimum requirements to run the game. Check out the minimum and recommended System Requirements.
- Disabling SLI or CrossFire can also help.

Fix - "Press Enter to start" screen

You have already tried all the keys in the PC version, but still not come across the screen with "Press Enter to start" out? Then the following suggestions might help:

- Users of gamepads should try on unplug and replug it again.
- Windows 8 or 8.1 users you should disable the UEFI Secure Boot.
- Make sure that the system uses your respective graphics card from AMD or Nvidia and not onboard one.

Fix – Unable to play with Friends

In Star Wars Battlefront, a party system lets you play together with your friends. However, it doesn’t yet work correctly in the PC version. So manage not to play on the same server as your friends until developers fix this issue.
