In Grand Ages – Medieval you can build your own city on over 30 million square kilometers, and form your own army to defend against enemy invaders. We have developed a successful strategy to expand your empire to more than 30 cities, boost population growth and earn lots of money.
The basic idea of the strategy
A city is required five goods - start with four cities, in order to cover everything you need 20 goods. Through small circulations (four cities) you can build your empire without any problems.
What do you have for it? That's pretty simple: you build your cities so that always four towns belong together (in the following this process is called Squad) and let a dealer only between these four cities.
Squad = 4 cities, which produce a total of 20 different goods and are interconnected with only one route.
Facts expiry
- If the cloth beam has been completely explored and the Church allows 15,000 inhabitants, 5 x 30 operations possible
- A fully equipped squad (ie 600 companies) produced as many goods as need (with a discreet Plus) - but without slipping into the dreaded surplus (Requires cloth roll fully explored)
- In addition, a 15,000 inhabitants city from the ground up has a positive effect on your balance sheet. In addition also the trade.
- Through the small circulations you can quickly find issues and should a city turn times (be taken by the enemy, etc.), break a maximum for a short time a squad away. On Normal difficulty, we are not even attacked because of power
So you go in front
- You see your starting city of your choice - we chose Zagreb - and seek you out of three sites for new towns in order to complement the goods completely.
- While you explore the cloth beam completely, you build in all the cities equally among the farms. This is at the beginning as a production boost.
- Do not forget dealers at the beginning! This should increase with carts.
- Who has spare capacity, may set up a second squad and immediately excited about the money in the till.
Things you should be aware
- Salt is the most difficult to organize (south of Nuremberg and Warsaw there is, for example, just to have everything close together) - so best to cover as salt first and then schedule the other three cities.
- Beer, cloth, bread, tool, meat, clothing and pageantry can make any city - is therefore a stopgap
- Until the first squad completely removed, pass a little time. So far, however, this had no consequences. We could still spread outstanding
- Build on top of wood and mud in a town (My routes I even named after the city) - This allows your distributor continue to build other cities faster.
- Send over the inn trek to achieve faster 15,000 inhabitants in a new Squad
- If you take over peacefully to another city (Split, Nuremberg, etc.) does so first and then see what you are missing to complete the Squad.
- Of each operation, in every town, in every squad exactly 30!
After four hours played we build (most of it in 10-fold speed) almost 500,000 population, 32 cities, and 250 million in the account.
