Android: Customize the Battery Indicator

If you are tired of the visual aspect of the battery meter on your Android device, know that there are some very interesting options for you to customize your interface with fun icons which indicate the amount of battery you have left.

Even though the native battery meter can not be changed, there are several options that add a secondary window in your "Home". For those not very familiar with the type widgets, simply type "battery widget" on Google Play Store for a great range of options.

Among them, there are great tools like Z Battery Widget, Battery Widget, Battery Solo Widget and even fun and funny kitten battery. Choose one of the above options to install it on your gadget.

Then, the widget does not automatically appear on your home screen, meaning you'll need to activate it. Go to the application menu, press the "Widgets" tab and locate the battery widget manually. After locating the "Battery Widget", press the icon for a few seconds to drag it to the Home screen. Remember that you can position it wherever you want.

To open the widget, you can also customize it, is to make it bigger or just with a different color. In addition, there are widgets that offer a good variety of characters, so you can select what suits you in just one click. It is noteworthy that none of the widgets will appear on your device screen locked and in that case, you should resort to the old native icon.
